Berlin inches short of Admirals

The last home game of the Amsterdam Admirals was played in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. Both teams, Berlin Thunder and the Amsterdam Admirals, needed this win to avoid the last place in the league.

Berlin started strong and kept the lead until the fourth quarter. Just before the 2 minute warning Amsterdam took the lead with 21-20. In the final seconds Berlin caught the ball in the Amsterdam redzone but the receiver was pushed out at the 1 yard line. The clock already ran out so Berlin was only inches short on a win over Amsterdam.
