De Amsterdam Crusaders hebben zich vandaag geplaatst voor de Tulip Bowl ten koste van de Rotterdam Trojans. In een eenzijdige wedstrijd versloegen de Crusaders in eigen huis de Trojans met 26 tegen 0.

Rumor: Baker and Goodell come to agreement

Our sources tell us that during the last week AFL commisionair David Baker and NFL commisionair Roger Goodell have come to an agreement about the use of the NFL Europe team names and logo's. The AFL will be allowed to use the names of all past NFL Europe teams (Admirals, Centurions, Claymores, Dragons, Fire, Galaxy, Monarchs, Sea Devils and Thunder) and their logo's.

AFL Europe, one step closer

Since 2006 there has been a rumor going on about an AFL league in Europe. A few weeks ago the rumors got stronger and through a trustworthy source we heard that the AFL is thinking about 4 exhibition games in Europe in 2008 and the start of a European league in 2009.

Sea Devils Europameister 2007

The Hamburg Sea Devils defeated the 2006 World Bowl winners, Frankfurt Galaxy, at there own home. In an exciting match were the Sea Devils took the lead the scoring was back and forth but Galaxy was always trying to catch up as the Sea Devils took an early 13-0 lead which they didn't give away.

Berlin inches short of Admirals

The last home game of the Amsterdam Admirals was played in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. Both teams, Berlin Thunder and the Amsterdam Admirals, needed this win to avoid the last place in the league.

World Bowl XV: Sea Devils vs Galaxy

For the second year in a row the current World Bowl champion will have a chance to defend the title in the NFL Eeuropa final. The current champions, Frankfurt Galaxy, will face the Hamburg Sea Devils in their own stadium for World Bowl XV.

Centurions dominate Admirals

Cologne was again to strong for Amsterdam. For the second time this season the Centurions took the "W" against the Admirals. This time the Admirals were able to score befor the last minute, but with a 31-13 loss they now have a losing season (3-6). The Centurions are getting one step closer to the spot in World Bowl XV.

No Orange WorldBowl

Today Rhein Fire welcomed the Amsterdam Admirals to the LTU Arena. This second meeting has to be won by the Admirals if they wanted to be in the race for a WorldBowl spot. It was an exciting game with lots of scores: 5 field goal, 8 touchdowns, 7 PAT's and one two point conversion for a total of 79 points.

Cologne All Mighty

The Cologne Centurions came to visit Amsterdam to teach the Admirals how to play football. Without any doubt the Centurions started strong and confident on the game. The result: the Centurions were dominating the complete game. The Amsterdam Admirals were not able to score until the last second.
